Why SpinBob withdrawals get stuck
Nothing is more frustrating than a win you cannot get hold of. The good news is that a pending or declined SpinBob withdrawal almost always comes down to one of eight causes, and most of them can be fixed in minutes. Start with the quick checklist, then read the section that matches your situation.
Quick checklist
- Is your account fully verified (ID, address and payment)?
- Are you withdrawing to the same method you deposited with?
- Is the name on your payment method identical to your SpinBob account name?
- Do you have an active bonus with wagering left to complete?
- Is the amount between £10 and your daily limit of £5,000?
- Did you request it on a weekend or bank holiday?

The eight common causes
1. KYC not complete
Your first SpinBob withdrawal triggers a full identity check if one has not already been done. Until your photo ID, proof of address (dated within 3 months) and proof of payment are approved, the withdrawal waits. Uploads go in Account → Verification and reviews usually take 24–48 hours. Our KYC verification guide explains how to get documents approved first time.
2. Closed-loop rule
UK anti-money-laundering rules mean you must withdraw to the method you deposited with wherever possible. If you deposited with PayPal and request a payout to a debit card, expect a decline or a request to change method. If you used several methods, withdrawals may be split back across them.
3. Bonus wagering incomplete
If a bonus is active, its wagering must be completed before bonus-related winnings can be withdrawn. At SpinBob the cap is 10x — the welcome offer, for example, needs 10x the bonus amount wagered. Real money is played first, and you can forfeit an active bonus at any time to withdraw your remaining real-money balance. Check your bonus status in your account before requesting a payout.
4. Name mismatch
The name on your card, bank account or e-wallet must match your SpinBob account exactly. A married name, a missing middle name or an account in a partner’s name will hold up the payment. Update your details through support with supporting documents, or use a method in your own name.
5. Weekends and bank holidays
SpinBob’s internal review runs every day, but banks do not. A card or bank transfer withdrawal approved on a Friday evening may not reach you until Tuesday or Wednesday, and UK bank holidays add a day. E-wallets and Rapid Transfer are far less affected.
6. Limits
The minimum withdrawal is £10; the maximum is £5,000 per day and £25,000 per month. Larger wins are paid in instalments within those limits. Pearl Society members at Sapphire and Abyss tiers have higher limits — see our VIP guide.
7. Paysafecard deposits
Paysafecard is deposit-only. If it was your only deposit method, you will need to add a bank account or another verified method in your name to withdraw. Expect a proof-of-ownership check on the new method.
8. Affordability and Source of Funds
For larger withdrawals or a change in your spending pattern, SpinBob may run an affordability check and ask for Source of Funds evidence — payslips, bank statements or a P60. This is a UK regulatory duty, not a sign that anything is wrong. Respond promptly and in full to keep the review short.
Step-by-step fix for a stuck withdrawal
- Check the status in your transaction history. “Pending” means internal review; “approved” means it has been sent; “declined” means action is needed.
- Open Account → Verification and confirm every document shows as approved. Upload anything missing.
- Check your bonus balance. If wagering is incomplete and you would rather take your real money now, forfeit the bonus.
- Confirm the payment method matches your deposit method and is in your own name.
- Allow the normal time for your method (see the table below), counting working days for cards and bank transfers.
- Contact live chat with your withdrawal amount, date, method and any reference number if the time has passed.
- Log a formal complaint if the problem is not resolved, and escalate to IBAS if needed — see our troubleshooting hub.
💡 Speed up your first SpinBob withdrawal
Verify your account before you need to withdraw. Uploading documents straight after registration means your first payout skips the KYC wait entirely.
Realistic timeline by method
Total time = internal processing (up to 24 hours) + the method’s own transfer time.
| Method | Internal processing | Transfer time after approval | Realistic total |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayPal | up to 24 hours | within 12 hours | same day to 36 hours |
| Skrill / Neteller | up to 24 hours | within 12 hours | same day to 36 hours |
| Revolut | up to 24 hours | within 12 hours | same day to 36 hours |
| Rapid Transfer | up to 24 hours | same day | 1–2 days |
| Visa / Mastercard debit | up to 24 hours | 1–3 working days | 2–4 working days |
| Apple Pay / Google Pay | up to 24 hours | to linked debit card, 1–3 working days | 2–4 working days |
| Bank transfer | up to 24 hours | 1–3 working days | 2–4 working days |
| Paysafecard | — | not available | use another method |
A first withdrawal can take longer while KYC completes. Pearl Society members benefit from faster withdrawal processing. Full method details are in our withdrawals guide.
No reverse withdrawals
SpinBob does not offer reverse withdrawals. Once a withdrawal is requested, it cannot be cancelled and the money cannot be moved back into your playing balance. Some players find this frustrating at first, but it is a strong safer-gambling feature: it stops the habit of “just one more go” with money you had already decided to bank.
If you notice that you often want to cancel withdrawals, that is worth paying attention to. Deposit limits, reality checks and time-outs are all in Account → Safer Gambling, and our responsible gambling page has free, confidential support options including GamCare on 0808 8020 133.
What to send SpinBob support
To get a quick answer, give the live chat agent:
- Your registered email address
- The withdrawal amount, date and time requested
- The payment method and the last four digits or account name
- Any error or decline message, ideally as a screenshot
Never share your password or full card number in chat. SpinBob only provides support through 24/7 live chat and the Help Centre contact form, so ignore anyone contacting you elsewhere offering to “release” a withdrawal for a fee.
Still stuck?
If you have followed every step and your SpinBob withdrawal is still not moving after the expected time, ask for a formal complaint to be logged. SpinBob must send a final response within 8 weeks, after which you can take the case to IBAS free of charge. For card or bank payment issues on the deposit side, see our payment problems guide.

Quick answers
Why is my SpinBob withdrawal still pending?
+
Every SpinBob withdrawal goes through an internal review of up to 24 hours. A first withdrawal can take longer while KYC documents are checked, and requests made late on a Friday may not leave until the next working day.
Can I cancel a SpinBob withdrawal and play the money instead?
+
No. SpinBob does not allow reverse withdrawals, so once you request a payout it cannot be moved back into your playing balance. This is a deliberate safer-gambling measure.
Why was my SpinBob withdrawal declined?
+
Common reasons are trying to withdraw to a different method from the one you deposited with, a name mismatch between your account and payment method, or an active bonus with wagering still to complete. Support can tell you which applies.
Can I withdraw to Paysafecard?
+
No. Paysafecard is deposit-only at SpinBob. If you deposited by Paysafecard, you will need to withdraw by bank transfer or another verified method in your name.
What is the maximum I can withdraw from SpinBob?
+
The standard limits are £5,000 per day and £25,000 per month, with a £10 minimum. Pearl Society members at Sapphire and Abyss tiers have higher limits.
