Quick fixes for SpinBob login problems

Most SpinBob login problems are solved in under five minutes. Before anything else, try these:

  • Check caps lock and that you are typing the email you registered with
  • Make sure you are on the genuine SpinBob site, not a lookalike link
  • Turn off any VPN
  • Try a different browser or a private window
  • Reset your password if you are unsure of it

If none of those work, find your exact symptom below. For a general walkthrough of signing in, see our SpinBob login guide.

Forgotten password

Click Forgot password on the SpinBob login screen and enter your registered email address. A reset link arrives by email and is valid for 60 minutes. Open it, choose a new password and log in.

Good password habits:

  • Use at least 12 characters with a mix of words, numbers and symbols
  • Never reuse a password from another site
  • Consider a password manager so you do not need to remember it

If the link has expired or you clicked it twice, simply request another. Only the most recent link will work.

Reset email missing

If the email has not arrived within a few minutes:

  1. Check spam, junk and promotions folders — some UK email providers filter casino emails aggressively.
  2. Search your inbox for “SpinBob”.
  3. Make sure you typed the email exactly as registered. Many players have more than one address.
  4. Add SpinBob to your safe senders list and request a new link.
  5. If nothing arrives after 10 minutes, open SpinBob’s 24/7 live chat and ask them to confirm the email on your account.

Two-step verification codes not arriving

Two-step verification is optional at SpinBob but strongly recommended. You can receive codes by SMS or through an authenticator app.

SMS codes

  • Check you have mobile signal; codes can be delayed in poor coverage areas
  • Make sure your phone is not blocking short-code or unknown senders
  • Wait a minute before requesting a new code — multiple requests can arrive out of order
  • If you changed your number, live chat will need to verify your identity before updating it

Authenticator app codes

  • Codes are time-based, so your phone’s clock must be accurate. Set date and time to automatic.
  • Make sure you are reading the code for SpinBob, not another account in the app
  • If you changed phones without moving the authenticator, contact live chat to reset two-step verification after an identity check

Locked after five attempts

Five failed login attempts lock your SpinBob account for 30 minutes. This protects you from anyone trying to guess their way in. There is no way to speed this up, so:

  1. Stop trying — further attempts will not help.
  2. Use the 30 minutes to reset your password.
  3. Log in with the new password once the lock lifts.

If you did not make those attempts yourself, treat it as a possible security issue and follow the hacked-account steps below.

Browser, cache and cookies

SpinBob runs in your browser on desktop and mobile, so browser problems can look like login problems. Symptoms include the page refreshing back to the login screen, buttons that do nothing or an endless loading spinner.

💡 Five-minute browser fix

Update your browser, clear the cache and cookies for the SpinBob site, disable ad-blockers or privacy extensions for the site, and allow cookies. Then close and reopen the browser before logging in again.

If you added SpinBob to your home screen as a web app, try logging in through the normal browser instead. If that works, remove the home-screen shortcut and add it again. Our mobile and games guide covers the mobile site in more detail.

VPN and location

SpinBob UK is licensed for players in Great Britain. If you use a VPN — even one set to a UK server — or try to log in from abroad, the login may be blocked. Turn off the VPN, disconnect from any work or travel network that routes traffic overseas, and try again from home. If you are on holiday, you will need to wait until you are back in Great Britain.

“Account restricted” message

If your password works but you see “account restricted”, “suspended” or “closed”, the issue is not your login. It usually means KYC is incomplete, an affordability review is under way or a self-exclusion is in place. Our account blocked guide explains each reason, and our KYC verification guide helps if documents are needed.

If you think your account was hacked

Act quickly if you notice logins you did not make, a changed email or password, or transactions you do not recognise:

  1. Reset your SpinBob password straight away, if you still can.
  2. Change your email password too — if someone accessed your email, they can reset other accounts.
  3. Turn on two-step verification in your account settings.
  4. Contact SpinBob live chat and explain what happened. Ask them to secure the account and review recent activity.
  5. Check your payment methods and tell your bank if you see unauthorised transactions.
  6. Scan your devices for malware and update your software.

SpinBob only offers support through 24/7 live chat and the Help Centre contact form. Be wary of emails or messages asking for your password or verification codes — genuine support will never ask for them.

Still can’t log in?

Open SpinBob’s live chat and give them your registered email, the time you tried to log in and any error message. If the issue is not resolved, our troubleshooting hub explains how to make a formal complaint and escalate to IBAS.
