Before you start

SpinBob registration is open to adults living in Great Britain. Have these to hand and the form takes around two minutes:

  • An email address you check regularly
  • Your mobile phone
  • Your full legal name and date of birth, exactly as on your ID
  • Your current UK address and postcode
  • A UK debit card or e-wallet for your first deposit (credit cards are not accepted)

UK-facing casinos must hold a UK Gambling Commission licence — check the licence details in SpinBob’s site footer against the Commission’s public register before you deposit.

SpinBob registration step by step

  1. Open the sign-up form. Go to the SpinBob site and tap Join or Register in the header.
  2. Enter your email and a password. Use a unique password of 12+ characters; this email becomes your login.
  3. Add your personal details. Full name, date of birth, UK address and postcode, and mobile number.
  4. Set your marketing choices. Tick or untick email and SMS offers; you can change these later.
  5. Accept the terms. Confirm you are 18+ and accept the terms and privacy policy. It’s worth reading the bonus terms now rather than later.
  6. Set a deposit limit. Choose a daily, weekly or monthly cap (more on this below).
  7. Pass the age and ID check. An automatic check runs against electronic records. Most players pass instantly.
  8. Verify your email. Click the link in the confirmation email to activate the account.

Once those are done you can log in, set up two-step verification and make a first deposit. Our SpinBob login guide covers signing in on desktop and mobile.

What details are needed, and why

Every UK sign-up passes an age and identity check before any play, including demo games.

UK rules require the operator to know exactly who you are before you play anything, even free-play demos. Here is what each detail is used for:

DetailWhy it’s needed
Email addressYour login, password resets and account notices
PasswordAccount security; pair it with two-step verification
Full legal nameMatched against your ID and payment methods
Date of birthConfirms you are 18 or over; also sets the £2 per spin slot limit for ages 18–24
UK address and postcodeConfirms you live in Great Britain; checked against electronic records
Mobile numberTwo-step verification codes and account security
Deposit limitRequired safer-gambling choice at sign-up

If the electronic check can’t confirm your details, SpinBob will ask you to upload documents in Account → Verification: photo ID (passport, UK driving licence or national ID card) and proof of address dated within the last three months. Review usually takes 24–48 hours. Our KYC verification guide explains which documents are accepted and how to photograph them.

Setting a deposit limit at sign-up

The form asks you to set a deposit limit before your first deposit. You can choose a daily, weekly or monthly figure, and our guide strongly recommends picking a real number rather than skipping it.

  • Decreasing a limit takes effect immediately.
  • Increasing a limit only applies after a 24-hour cooling-off period.
  • Loss limits, reality checks and time-outs are also available in Account → Safer Gambling.

A useful rule: set the limit at what you’d happily spend on a night out, not what you could afford in a stretch. Our responsible gambling guide has more on choosing limits.

Verifying your email

SpinBob sends a confirmation email as soon as you submit the form. Click the link to activate the account. If it hasn’t arrived within a few minutes, check spam and promotions folders, then use the “resend” option on the login screen. Make sure you typed the address correctly; a typo here means the email went somewhere else, and live chat can help you correct it.

First deposit and claiming the welcome bonus

With your account verified, head to the cashier. The minimum deposit is £10 for debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Skrill, Neteller, Revolut, Rapid Transfer and Paysafecard, and £20 by bank transfer. Our SpinBob deposits guide covers each method.

  1. Open the cashier and choose a payment method.
  2. Enter your amount: £10 or more to qualify.
  3. In the bonus selector, choose the casino welcome offer (or the sportsbook Bet £10 Get £30 offer).
  4. Confirm the deposit. The bonus is credited straight away.
  5. Your first 20 Free Spins on Sunken Riches appear in the bonus section; 20 more land each day for 10 days.

The casino welcome is 100% up to £500 + 200 Free Spins, with 10x wagering on the bonus amount, 30 days to complete it and a maximum stake of £5 per spin (£2 if you are 18–24). Full terms and a worked wagering example are in our SpinBob promotions guide.

Quick answers

How long does SpinBob registration take?

+

Filling in the form takes around two minutes. The automatic age and identity check usually completes straight away, but SpinBob may ask for documents if it can't confirm your details electronically.

Can I register at SpinBob if I'm on GAMSTOP?

+

No. SpinBob checks every registration against GAMSTOP, and a match blocks the account until your self-exclusion period has ended and you have asked GAMSTOP to lift it.

Do I have to set a deposit limit when I sign up?

+

You are offered a deposit limit during registration and our guide recommends setting one. You can lower it instantly later, while increases take 24 hours to apply.

Why are my address and date of birth needed?

+

UK Gambling Commission rules require age and identity verification before anyone can play, including free-play demos. Your name, date of birth and address are checked against electronic records to confirm you are 18 or over and live in Great Britain.

When do I claim the SpinBob welcome bonus?

+

Choose the welcome offer in the deposit window on your first deposit of £10 or more. You get 100% up to £500 plus 200 Free Spins, with 10x wagering on the bonus amount.
