1. Who we are
This privacy policy applies to the website at spinbob.me.uk (the “Website”), an independent information guide about the SpinBob online casino and sportsbook for players in Great Britain.
The Website is operated by the publisher of this website (“we”, “us”, “our”). For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the controller of the limited personal data described in this policy.
We are not SpinBob and we are not the operator of any gambling service. When you register or play with SpinBob, SpinBob’s operator is the controller of your data and its own privacy policy applies — please read it on SpinBob’s website.
This policy is written to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. It was last updated on 9 October 2026.
2. Our approach: data minimisation
Our guide is designed to be read, not to collect information about you. We don’t ask you to create an account, we don’t sell personal data, and we don’t build advertising profiles. In practice, the personal data we process is limited to the categories below.
| Category | What it includes | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Server and security logs | IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, date and time, referring page | To deliver pages, keep the Website secure and fix errors | Legitimate interests |
| Question form | Text you type into the form on our support page | To show instant answers from our guides | Not sent to us unless the form clearly says so |
| Essential cookies / local storage | Technical settings needed for the site to work | To provide the service you request | Strictly necessary |
| Messages you choose to send | Your message and any contact details you include | To respond to your enquiry | Legitimate interests |
3. Server logs from our hosting and CDN provider
Like almost every website, the Website is delivered through a hosting and content delivery network (CDN) provider. When you visit, that provider’s servers automatically record technical information such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, your browser’s user-agent string and the referring URL.
These logs are used to deliver pages quickly, defend against attacks and abuse, and diagnose technical problems. The provider acts on our behalf (as a processor) or, for its own security and network operations, as an independent controller under its own privacy terms. We do not use server logs to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine them with other data to profile you.
4. The question form
Our support page and FAQ page include a question form that gives instant answers about SpinBob. The form matches your question against our published guides and answers it in your browser. It does not send personal data to us unless the form clearly states that your message will be submitted.
Where a form does state that your message will be sent to us, we will use what you submit only to reply to you and to improve our guides, and we will keep it no longer than necessary (see section 8).
Please never enter passwords, full card or bank details, identity documents or health information into any form on the Website. We cannot help with SpinBob account matters — for those, contact SpinBob directly through its 24/7 live chat or Help Centre contact form.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. We take a minimal approach:
- We use only essential cookies or no cookies at all to make the Website work.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- If we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will show a consent banner and only set those cookies if you agree. Where a consent banner appears, it will explain exactly what is used and let you change your choice at any time.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how parts of the Website work.
6. Affiliate links and third-party tracking
The Website contains affiliate links. When you click a button or link that goes through our /play address, you are redirected to SpinBob via an affiliate network. This lets SpinBob and the network record that you arrived from our guide, so that we may earn a commission if you sign up — at no extra cost to you.
Please note:
- The affiliate network and SpinBob may set their own cookies or use similar technologies on their domains when you click through. These are controlled by them, not by us.
- The tracking data we receive is typically aggregated or pseudonymous reporting (for example, numbers of clicks, registrations and deposits). We do not receive your name, contact details, payment information or SpinBob account data.
- The privacy policies of the affiliate network and of SpinBob explain how they use your data and how to exercise your rights with them.
Our Terms & Conditions explain how affiliate links fund this guide.
7. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share limited data only with:
- our hosting and CDN provider, to deliver and secure the Website;
- technical service providers acting on our instructions, if we use them to operate the Website;
- authorities or regulators, where we are legally required to, or where necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
8. How long we keep data
| Data | Typical retention |
|---|---|
| Server and security logs | Short periods set by our hosting/CDN provider, usually no more than a few weeks unless needed to investigate abuse |
| Messages you send us | Up to 12 months after we reply, then deleted |
| Essential cookies | Session-only or as short as needed for their purpose |
We may keep data longer only where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
9. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the following rights over your personal data, subject to certain conditions and exemptions:
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data where there is no good reason to keep it.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Portability — receive data you provided to us in a reusable format, where applicable.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent (for example, non-essential cookies), withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any right, contact us via the form on our support page. We will respond within one month, as required by law, and may ask for information to confirm your identity. Because we hold very little personal data, we may not be able to link a request to any data at all — in that case we’ll tell you.
For data held by SpinBob — such as your account, verification documents or transaction history — contact SpinBob directly, as it is the controller of that information.
Complaints to the ICO
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Website and any data processed through it. The Website is served over encrypted HTTPS connections, access to administrative systems is restricted, and we keep data collection to a minimum so there is less to protect.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please help by keeping your devices up to date and never sharing sensitive information through web forms.
11. Children
The Website is about gambling and is intended only for adults aged 18 or over in Great Britain. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
If you are worried about gambling — your own or someone else’s — our responsible gambling guide lists free UK support, including the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if we change how the Website works or if the law changes. The latest version will always be published on this page with a new “last updated” date. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will make that clear on the Website.
13. Contact
For any question about this policy or your personal data, please use the form on our support page. Remember that we are an independent SpinBob guide: questions about your SpinBob account, deposits or withdrawals should go to SpinBob directly.
Quick answers
Does spinbob.me.uk have my SpinBob account details?

Does this website use tracking cookies?

We use only essential cookies, or none at all, unless a consent banner on the Website tells you otherwise and asks for your permission. Affiliate networks and SpinBob may set their own cookies once you click through to them.
How do I complain about how my data is handled?
+
Contact us first through the form on our support page so we can try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
