The SpinBob sportsbook at a glance
The SpinBob sportsbook sits in its own tab next to the casino lobby, sharing the same login and the same safer gambling tools. It covers the sports UK punters care about most, with pre-match and in-play markets, a bet builder, cash out and live stats on major events.
If the casino is the Lantern Reef’s neon promenade, the sportsbook is its stadium — the shark captain’s home turf. This guide walks through what you can bet on, how the different bet types work and how to use the welcome free bets sensibly.

Football
Football is the core of the SpinBob sportsbook. Premier League matches carry the deepest markets — dozens per game, from simple match results to player shots and bookings. EFL fixtures are well covered too, which matters on a busy Saturday when the Championship has a full card.
Horse racing
Racing fans get daily UK and Irish cards with each-way terms shown on every race. The big festivals get special treatment: ante-post markets on the Cheltenham Festival open months ahead, and the Grand National at Aintree draws the biggest each-way interest of the year. Check the each-way terms (places paid and fraction of the odds) on the race card before you bet.
Bet types explained
- Single — one selection. Win and you’re paid at the odds you took.
- Double, treble and accumulator (“acca”) — several selections combined; every leg must win, but the odds multiply.
- Bet builder — combine several markets from the same football match, such as a team to win plus over 2.5 goals plus a player to score. The legs are linked, so the price reflects that.
- Each-way — two bets in one: a win bet and a place bet of equal stake. Popular in racing and golf. A £5 each-way bet costs £10.
- System bets — Trixie, Patent, Yankee and Lucky 15 cover every combination of your picks, so you can still get a return if one selection loses.
💡 Accas are fun, not efficient
Every extra leg adds the bookmaker’s margin again. A five-fold acca looks great on paper but loses far more often than it wins. Keep stakes on accas small and treat them as entertainment.
In-play betting, live stats and cash out
In-play markets open once an event starts and update as the action unfolds. You’ll see live stats — possession, shots, corners, points won — on major events to help you follow what’s happening. Markets suspend briefly after key moments such as goals, red cards or a VAR review.
Cash out lets you settle a bet before the event finishes. The offer moves with the odds: if your selection is doing well, the cash-out value rises; if not, it falls. Partial cash out, where available, lets you bank some of the value and leave the rest running. Cash out isn’t always offered and can be suspended at any point, so don’t rely on it as a safety net.
Odds formats
UK players see fractional odds by default — the familiar 5/2 or 11/4 from the high street. You can switch to decimal odds in the sportsbook settings.
| Fractional | Decimal | Implied probability | £10 stake returns |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1/2 | 1.50 | 66.7% | £15 |
| Evens (1/1) | 2.00 | 50% | £20 |
| 2/1 | 3.00 | 33.3% | £30 |
| 5/2 | 3.50 | 28.6% | £35 |
| 10/1 | 11.00 | 9.1% | £110 |
Implied probability helps you judge value: if you think a team wins more often than the odds suggest, that’s when a bet might be worth considering.
